Privacy Policy
PropRelay is a NinjaTrader 8 add-on that runs locally on your machine. We collect as little personal data as we can get away with. This page explains exactly what is collected, by whom, and why.
Your trades, your account balances, your broker credentials, your market data, and your strategy code never leave your computer. PropRelay copies orders inside your NinjaTrader 8 process. There is no cloud relay and no telemetry on trading activity.
1. What we collect
From the website (proprelay.io)
- Standard server logs handled by Cloudflare: IP address, user agent, timestamps, page paths. Used to operate the site and detect abuse.
- The site does not set its own cookies or use analytics scripts.
From the checkout (Whop)
- Whop processes all payments and stores your billing details, email, and subscription status. We receive the email address you used and a notification when your subscription is created, renewed, or cancelled. We do not see your card or bank details.

From the PropRelay add-on (license activation)
- License key, machine identifier, and a periodic heartbeat are sent to our backend so we can verify your subscription is active and prevent license sharing. The heartbeat contains: license key, machine ID, NT8 version, and the timestamp.
- The heartbeat does not contain trades, order details, account numbers, P&L, or strategy data.
2. Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the website and proxies traffic. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Whop processes payments and manages subscriptions. Whop privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the Inter and JetBrains Mono web fonts used on this site. Google may log the IP of font requests. Google privacy policy.
- Railway hosts the license-activation backend. Railway privacy policy.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver and operate the Software (license verification, support).
- To bill you for the subscription and process refunds.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To detect license abuse, fraud, or unauthorised redistribution.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing profiling.
4. Cookies
The PropRelay site does not set cookies for tracking. Cloudflare and Whop may set technical cookies for security and session handling when you interact with their services (for example, when the Whop checkout is loaded).
5. Data retention
- License activation records are retained for the life of your subscription, plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and abuse prevention.
- Server logs are retained for a short period (typically 30 days) and then rotated.
- Billing records held by Whop are retained according to their policy and applicable tax law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address on file. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Security
Communication between PropRelay and our backend is encrypted in transit (TLS). We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your license key private.
8. Children
PropRelay is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of PropRelay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
